Models Scale models were made by apprentices and trainees to learn the various techniques of their trade. Each apprentice had to present a model to be judged by the guild masters in order to be accepted to the first level of guild membership, “candidate” or “affiliate.” Many models created by the students of Pierre-François Guillon’s School of Drawing are exhibited in the museum.
